Stephen Ogden

Stephen Ogden is currently a Senior Weather Data Analyst at MSIGuaranteedWeather, a weather insurance company based in Overland Park, KS. In his job, he finds and analyzes large amounts of observational data to help customers mitigate weather risk using insurance and derivative products--whether the risk involves hail, temperatures, rainfall, or any other weather variable. In addition, forecasting and teleconnections have played large roles in shaping some of the products he has helped develop.

Previously, Stephen grew up in Westfield, WI and received Bachelor of Science (2010) and Master of Science (2014) degrees in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from UW-Madison. During graduate school, he spent time as a Teaching Assistant and helped build newspaper weather pages at Weather Central (now WSI).
