Daniel Knuth

Daniel Knuth is a Financial Analyst with Hecate Energy, a renewable energy developer located in Chicago. He supports the development of utility-scale renewable energy and battery storage projects by developing financial models, researching emerging energy technologies, and securing project financing from lenders and investors. Prior to joining Hecate Energy, Daniel was a management consultant at PA Consulting in Denver, Colorado, where he developed energy price forecasts and advised clients on investment strategies in the energy and utilities industry.

Daniel graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015, double majoring in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences and Cartography and Geographic Information Systems with a certificate in German. With climate change being a recurring theme in several of his undergraduate classes, Daniel found himself motivated to understand its causes and possible solutions, which led to his career in the energy industry.
